We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations at our store location. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your leadership expertise in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring the store runs efficiently. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing stock, and maintaining organisational standards to optimise store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures

  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

  • Ensure effective merchandising and presentation of products in line with brand standards

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment

  • Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment

  • Implement promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to maximise revenue

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

Skills

  • Proven management experience within retail or a similar environment

  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and develop staff teams

  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities

  • Organisational skills with attention to detail and effective time management

  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales management strategies

  • Administrative experience related to stock control, reporting, and record keeping

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • Proficiency in using retail management software or POS systems is desirable

The successful candidate will bring a proactive attitude, organisational prowess, and a commitment to excellence in retail management.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Salary £30,000.00
