An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supporter Services leader to join the leading international horse charity World Horse Welfare.

The charity promotes and protects welfare across the full spectrum of the equine world including horses in need, sport and leisure horses, and horses used in work and production.

  • The Senior Supporter Services Officer’s role is to strengthen our fundraising capabilities though the efficient and effective management of data. 

  • Ensuring the charity provides excellent stewardship and customer service for all donors & members as well as supporter acquisition programmes. 

  • You will work closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Senior Data Officer in order to provide reliable, timely and qualitative information as required by the fundraising team and other departments across the charity as required.

  • This role is also responsible for the management of the fundraising supporter services team which consists of two Customer Services Administrators.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in a supervisory role managing a team.  You will have a sound working knowledge of a fundraising database and a deep understanding of the principles of excellent customer service.  The successful candidate will have the ability to set clear expectations, provide guidance and foster a positive collaborative team.  You must be able to work well under pressure, be highly organised and confident when speaking to people at all levels.

This is a hybrid role which allows you to work from home 3 days per week and within our head office in Norfolk 2 days per week.
