Chelford Farm Supplies is a leading retailer of country clothing and footwear, equestrian products, agricultural supplies, and garden machinery. A family-owned business established in 1975, Chelford Farm Supplies serves customers from both its bricks-and-mortar and E-Commerce store. 

We are a growing and forward-thinking company, with a recent site expansion and an exciting new website design currently in development.  

An exiting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our team.  This role would ideally suit an established Senior Executive looking to take the next step in their career. 

This is a key role within our E-Commerce and Digital Marketing department, and for the right candidate, it will evolve into a Marketing Manager position. 

Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing captivating social media and email marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience to drive traffic to our        website and footfall to our stores

  • Managing and optimising email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation flows, and performance analysis

  • Executing and analysing paid social campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, with a clear focus on ROI and customer acquisition

  • Producing engaging, hands-on content including in-store videos, flat lays, and reels – a creative eye and strong visual storytelling ability is essential

  • Taking eye-catching product and lifestyle photographs for use across all marketing channels ensuring content aligns with our brand aesthetic

  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, best practices and competitor activity

  • Creating a cohesive brand message across all digital platforms that aligns with our commercial objectives

  • Identifying and building relationships with relevant influencers to promote our brand and products

  • Monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, producing reports on campaign activity to the Head of Department and key stakeholders

  • Creating digital content and artwork for our E-Commerce store

  • Managing budgets for all paid marketing activity

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail sector with an equestrian or farming background

  • Extensive experience in creating campaigns for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to drive engagement and generate leads

  • Proven track record of planning and managing paid social campaigns, ideally across Meta and TikTok

  • Hands-on experience using an email marketing platform for campaign automation, customer segmentation, and performance reporting.

  • A creative thinker with experience producing content including short-form videos, flat lays and photoshoots

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong graphic design skills, with a keen eye for detail and experience using tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with in-house teams and external partners and suppliers

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple campaigns

  • A problem-solving and proactive attitude

  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and other reporting tools to identify and target key customer demographics 

Job Type: Full-time   Monday to Friday  Office Based in Chelford, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 9AS

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year 

Additional pay:  Bonus scheme
