The Role
This role exists for one reason: to grow sales in the UK and Ireland.
The Sales Manager will have full autonomy and accountability for sales performance across all channels (direct, retail and online) leading a geographically spread team and turning a strong brand and premium product into consistent, measurable growth in volume and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Growth
Own and deliver sales growth across the UK and Ireland by identifying and optimising
Lead sales strategy from planning through to execution
Set, manage, and review sales targets and incentive models
Forecast performance and report clearly against objectives
Manage the sales & marketing budget for the UK & Ireland
Sales Team Leadership
Direct line management of:
UK & Ireland Territory Managers (full-time and part-time) / Office based Key Account Manager
Coach, train, develop, and performance-manage the team
Conduct regular ride-alongs and in-field support
Recruit, onboard, and exit team members where required
Build a winning culture focused on accountability and results
Execution & Focus
Ensure the sales team is targeting the right customers and regions
Maintain consistent sales standards, messaging, and behaviours
Act as the central point of leadership and decision-making for the sales function
Collaboration & Systems
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align sales activity with campaigns and brand direction
Use Zoho CRM and associated systems to manage pipeline, activity, and reporting
Provide clear market feedback to inform commercial and operational decisions
Experience & Attributes
Essential
Proven experience managing, leading and growing sales teams
Track record of delivering sales growth through people
Strong leadership presence with the ability to challenge and support
Comfortable managing a remote, geographically dispersed team
Willingness to be visible in the field and at HQ
Desirable
Experience in premium, relationship-led sales environments
Background in equestrian, agricultural, or animal nutrition sectors
Experience working within fixed or disciplined pricing structures
