We are looking for a positive, proactive Sales Executive to join our sales team and help look after a portfolio of mid-sized equestrian retail accounts. Ideal for someone with an equestrian background, 12 months of relevant B2B sales experience and a genuine can-do attitude. You will support and develop customer relationships; help drive sales across your account base and work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive accurate product information, strong service and timely support. Whilst the role will mostly be office-based at our Rushden office it will include some customer travel to build relationships and support sales opportunities in person.

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of mid-sized equestrian retail accounts, building strong commercial relationships and delivering excellent day-to-day service. 

  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries, supporting orders and helping resolve issues quickly and professionally. 

  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts through product knowledge, proactive follow-up and clear communication. 

  • Support seasonal and new product launches by sharing product information, assets and updates with customers in a timely and accurate way. 

  • Work with sales, marketing and product teams to ensure customers have the tools and information they need to represent Weatherbeeta brands effectively in store and online. 

  • Review sales information, customer feedback and account activity to spot trends, gaps and opportunities for growth. 

  • Maintain accurate customer records, product information and account updates using Microsoft Office and internal systems. 

  • Represent Weatherbeeta positively and professionally. 

What we are looking for 

  • An equestrian background or strong knowledge of the equine world is essential. 

  • 12 months of relevant B2B sales, account support or customer-facing commercial experience. 

  • A positive, can-do attitude with confidence to build customer relationships and learn quickly. 

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy sales environment. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly approach. 

  • A customer-focused mindset and the motivation to go the extra mile to deliver great service and sales results. 

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

  • A full UK driving license. 

This role would suit someone who 

  • Has hands-on equestrian knowledge and would enjoy representing some of the industry’s most celebrated brands. 

  • Is early in their B2B sales or career and ready to take the next step whilst looking for plenty of opportunity to grow and develop. 

  • Enjoy speaking with customers, solving problems and spotting commercial opportunities. 

  • Wants to develop into a confident Sales Executive with support, training and exposure to established retail accounts.
