Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

Contract: Initially maternity cover (with strong potential to become permanent)

Holiday: 32 days including bank holidays

Working pattern: Full-time, office-based

The Role

The Sales & Customer Coordinator is a central role within the business and will be the first point of contact for our trade and wholesale customers. You will manage incoming enquiries, process orders, coordinate shipping and work closely with our sales, marketing and production teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service.

This role is initially offered as maternity cover, however there is strong potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Sales Support

  • Acting as the first point of contact for trade and wholesale customer enquiries by phone and email

  • Processing and managing sales orders received via phone, email and online channels

  • Answering product enquiries, sizing questions and order queries

  • Providing order confirmations, delivery updates and customer support

  • Maintaining strong relationships with retailers and trade partners

Order Processing & Administration

  • Creating and managing invoices and sales documentation

  • Coordinating dispatch and shipping of orders

  • Monitoring backorders and communicating delivery timelines

  • Maintaining customer records and order information within internal systems

  • Supporting general administrative tasks within the office

Internal Coordination

  • Liaising with production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment

  • Supporting sales representatives with customer enquiries and order management

  • Acting as a key link between sales, office administration and production teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team at trade shows and events where required

  • Assisting with product research and administrative projects

  • Helping with marketing content and supporting marketing activities when needed

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a customer-facing role within a small, dynamic team.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales administration or office support role

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Confident using computer systems and adapting to internal software

  • A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge or experience within the equestrian industry

  • Experience working with wholesale or trade customers

  • Interest in equestrian sport
