The Role
The Sales & Customer Service Coordinator is a central role within our small, close-knit team and the first point of contact for our trade and wholesale customers. You'll manage incoming enquiries, process orders, coordinate shipping, and work closely with our sales, marketing and production teams to make sure customers receive an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities
First point of contact for trade and wholesale customer enquiries by phone and email
Processing and managing sales orders across phone, email and online channels
Answering product enquiries, sizing questions and order queries
Providing order confirmations, delivery updates and customer support
Maintaining strong relationships with our retailers and trade partners
Creating and managing invoices and sales documentation
Coordinating dispatch and shipping of orders
Monitoring backorders and keeping customers updated on delivery timelines
Maintaining accurate customer records within internal systems
Liaising with production and warehouse to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Supporting the team at trade shows and events where required
About You
We're not necessarily looking for someone with a specific number of years’ experience- we're looking for the right person. That means someone who takes real ownership of their work, spots problems before being asked, holds themselves to a high standard, and doesn't need to be chased. You'll be organised, reliable, and the kind of person who keeps things running smoothly.
Essential:
Previous experience in a customer service, sales administration or office support role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities without dropping the ball
Confident using computer systems
A proactive, self-starting attitude
Desirable:
Knowledge or interest in the equestrian industry
Experience working with wholesale or trade customers
