Battles are the UK’s most established and leading provider of all of the major animal health, equestrian and pet care brands to distributors and retailers throughout the country, many of which are available via our next day delivery service. In 1832, we first started manufacturing agricultural products in Lincoln - 193 years later, we are still going from strength-to-strength and are continuing to carve our name as the first choice equestrian wholesaler within the areas in which we operate.
We are looking for a creative Product Designer to join our team in the marketing department.
The Product Designer will be responsible for developing collaborative products within established in-house brands from concept to final production, as well as able to produce line art to communicate design concepts. You will be able to create supporting artwork which illustrates design concepts that tells a story to the consumer. Designs will vary from equestrian products to equestrian clothing that all translate the vision of our in-house brands.
The successful candidate will have the following demonstrable skills and experience:
Previous experience in a similar role
Advanced level Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Trend aware, highly creative and able to identify and create innovative designs
A well-rounded designer with an interest in all areas of equestrian products
A strong interest and knowledge of horses would be advantageous
Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills
Ability to receive design critique and respond with multiple solutions
Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for product design
Ability to respond quickly to multiple projects with strong time management skills
Confident and personable
Strong team player with an ability to work independently
Able to commute daily to our Lincoln office
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am – 17:00pm
The role is based on site at our Lincoln Office
Pay from £25k per annum DEO
