The Role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Practice Manager to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management and strategic development of Equibreed UK. This is a senior position, working closely with the Clinical Director and leadership team, with real influence over how the business operates, grows, and delivers its services.

The successful candidate will bring proven management experience, strong people leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to customer service excellence. They will share our vision, values, and ambition for continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Customer Service

  • Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end client journey

  • Ensure consistently high standards of communication, professionalism, and service

  • Manage client feedback, complaints, and service improvements proactively

People Management & HR

  • Oversee HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development

  • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture aligned with Equibreed’s values

  • Support managers and clinicians with people management, wellbeing, and team engagement

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Work with the leadership team to deliver effective marketing and communication strategies

  • Oversee client communications, digital presence, and brand consistency

  • Identify opportunities to enhance Equibreed’s profile, reputation, and client engagement

Practice Operations & Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient running of the practice

  • Develop and refine systems, processes, and SOPs

  • Contribute to strategic planning, business development, and growth initiatives

  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and expense control

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety regulations, and practice policies

About You

You will be a confident, organised, and values-led manager with:

  • Proven previous management experience (essential)

  • A strong background in customer service excellence

  • Demonstrable experience in HR / people management

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or brand management

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • The ability to balance operational detail with strategic thinking

  • A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in supporting specialist clinical teams

Experience in veterinary, equine, medical, or professional services environments is highly desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
