Friendship Estates are producers of high-quality animal feeds - for horses: ReadiGrass, HorseHage and Mollichaff, and for small animals our range of Friendly products. These are grown and produced on our farming estate, enabling good control over consistency and traceability; and sold through wholesalers and retailers across the country.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our family farming and feed manufacturing business as an Office Administrator. The position will suit someone who will relish a diverse and valued role in our interconnected business.
The successful candidate will assist with the smooth running of our business. The position has great variety and changes with the seasons.
We have a small office team and good communication is essential.
For the successful candidate there will be involvement in all aspects of office administration and planning. This will give experience in sales and purchasing, plus production planning and quality systems. Experience will be helpful, but a sense of purpose and a drive to improve more beneficial. Your involvement and responsibility will grow with your experience and ability.
Key responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations
Production scheduling and recording
Processing orders and deliveries
Handling communications with customers and suppliers, by telephone and email
Transport planning and booking
Stock management
Managing office supplies
Collaboration with management and staff to ensure smooth processes
Key abilities:
A drive to find improvements and solutions to problems
Confident and accurate with numbers
Attention to detail
Adaptability and resilience
Good telephone manner
Day to day experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
This is an office based role, located at our Head Office in Stubbs Walden, just north of Doncaster, which is a rural location. Own transport is essential.
The hours are 8am till 5pm Monday - Friday, with an hour for lunch.
Salary would depend on ability and experience, £28k - £35k per annum.
