This is a varied and hands-on role combining office administration with accounting duties. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for key areas of office operations including customer communication, export documentation, logistics coordination, and financial record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration

  • Prepare and manage export documentation and liaise with couriers and freight companies.

  • Handle logistics coordination for international shipments.

  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Provide support across general office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day running.

Accounts Administration

  • Process and reconcile sales invoices, purchase orders, and payments.

  • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Monitor and manage stock-related transactions in relation to accounts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.

  • A versatile and proactive attitude, with the ability to learn new systems and procedures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident handling both phone and email correspondence.

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

  • Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software.

  • Proficiency in Excel and other office tools.

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in logistics, exports, or a similar administrative function.

  • Strong working knowledge of UK VAT and tax procedures.

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours)

Monday - Friday (On site)
