New Year, New Job?  Opportunity for a passionate nutritionist to join the team at TopSpec at our HQ in North Yorkshire 

Would you like to be part of a highly innovative horse feed company that is renowned throughout the equestrian and veterinary industry for the nutritional integrity of its products?  

We need more ‘hands on deck’ in our Nutrition department to keep up with the demand for nutritional advice and are seeking an individual who cares deeply about equine nutrition and welfare. We take pride in the support we offer our customers by helping their horses, as well as retailers, vets, other equine professionals, and our own sales team.  

This office-based role focuses on our Multiple Award-Winning-Helpline, which has been recognised by winning the BETA Award for ‘Excellence in Nutritional Advice and Customer Service’ an unrivalled fifteen times.

Other duties include;

  • Retailer and sales team training and support

  • Ensuring compliance with BETA-NOPS and UFAS regulations

  • Writing articles for the equestrian press,

  • Producing technical information for Point of Sale

  • Producing information on sacks, tubs and all labels ensuring that they are legally compliant,

  • Quality control

  • Forage sampling

The successful candidate should have a good degree in animal nutrition or animal/equine science or veterinary science, with a strong equestrian background that includes substantial experience in at least two of the equestrian disciplines. Experience within the equine industry will be beneficial.  

With an excellent salary, commensurate with experience; fabulous spacious offices positioned in the countryside, located 2 miles from the A1, between Ripon and Thirsk.
