Due to continued expansion and growth, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Equine Nutritionist. This is an exciting opportunity working in a junior role as a key member of our Nutritional Team.
The role involves giving equine nutritional advice over the phone and via email, and the administration involved in providing that advice.
In addition to equine knowledge and experience, we are also looking for someone who can give nutritional advice for smallholder animals such as poultry, pigs, sheep, goats and cattle. This is an integral position with opportunity for growth.
Key Skills:
Equine hands-on experience, relevant qualifications* and experience essential.
Drive, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach.
Customer Service / people skills.
Flexibility and willingness to learn
Organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Reliability
Some smallholder experience would be preferable.
Computer literate
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
Answering nutritional telephone and email enquiries and providing Nutritional advice to customers
Following up and processing of yard calls
Distribution of literature and information packs
Data input
Administration
This role is office based – remote working is not available.
You should reside within 45 minutes of our Norfolk Head Office.
*We are ideally looking for someone with a BSc. Relevant degrees include: Equine Science, Equine Studies, Animal Science and Animal Management (BSc or HND).
