We are a small family business based in North Devon that 3 years ago discovered a gap in the equestrian market. The EQUIDRY brand has grown at an unprecedented rate during the past 12 months and we feel it is now time for someone with a keen interest in marketing to join our team and work closely with the directors to grow the brand.
This is a completely new role and the first time we will have hired someone to help with our marketing. We are looking for a confident leader with plenty of personality, who loves a challenge, loves being part of a small team, works on their own initiative and is happy to get involved with all aspects of the business from the bottom up.
Whether professionally trained or self-taught, you’ll be an experienced photographer who’s passionate about storytelling through visual media. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of social media, the equine fashion world and be excited to play an important role in developing and defining the way that the EQUIDRY brand and our collections are seen by the world. You’ll be focused and organised, apply high standards to everything you do, and be able to collaborate as part of a small team.
Marketing & PR
You will be responsible for helping the directors to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan and strategy that generates income and engages audiences building EQUIDRY’S brand and reputation. You will be responsible for all B2C and B2B marketing across the business.
Marketing Material Creation
Design and create all marketing materials including in print adverts, online content, brochures, banners, leaflets, trade stand merchandising, in-store campaign and promotional content
Plan and execute photoshoots for all products and marketing materials
Product release and development
Be responsible for producing and editing high quality video and photographic product content for use on the website, social media and all marketing materials.
Create go-to-market strategies that successfully launch new products and features.
Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with buyers and makes our product stand out from the crowd
Create engaging and visually appealing content to promote products
Support with market research and competitor analysis
Copywriting
Develop and produce high-quality written content for marketing materials including but not limited to products descriptions, website copy, adverts, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts and promotional materials
Social Media Management
Managing and growing all social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook
Plan and create all content and campaigns including creating and editing photography, video content, and live streaming
Full management of social media advertisements and creative content including text, image and video.
Develop and deliver a highly effective influencer plan. Manage influencer partnerships and collaborations, including identifying new influencers and negotiating contracts.
Manage the community through comment replies, messages, and emails
Email Marketing
Design and manage email marketing campaigns
Customer Service
During busy periods you will assist with customer service communicating with customers through phone, chat and email, answering queries, liaising with the warehouse and problem solving. You may be required to attend events and trade shows to assist on the trade stand.
In addition to above - to be considered, you will need:
Proven marketing experience to be able to grow our brand within the equestrian industry (min 18 months)
The ability to work in an ever changing environment that a start up business requires with both short and long-term priorities along with changing daily demands
Excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be eager and ready to assert influence and constantly strive to raise the bar showing a sense of ownership and pride in your work with a can-do attitude and a drive to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
Brilliant written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience of digital marketing
To be an equestrian-enthusiast with excellent knowledge and understanding of equine products
We are offering a starting salary of £25 - 30k full time. For the right candidate there is the possibility of hybrid working but with a minimum 2 days per week on site with flexibility to come in when needed for photo shoots, content creation, new product launches etc. From time to time you may be required to stay away from home to attend events and trade shows which will include weekends.
