You will contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum, participate in quality assurance processes, and play an active role in maintaining an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Ideally, you will also hold a Level 3 (or higher) vocational qualification in an equine-related discipline. If you do not currently hold this qualification but have the relevant industry experience, we will support you to achieve it during your first year of employment.

You could currently be working within the equine sector or education, applying your expertise in a professional setting. This may include:

  • Delivering teaching or training in equine science, coaching, performance or management.

  • Working within the equine industry, such as riding centres, competition yards, coaching or equine business environments.

  • Supporting learner or trainee development through mentoring, coaching or practical instruction.

  • Contributing to curriculum delivery, research or industry-led projects.

  • Engaging with employers and professional networks to ensure your knowledge remains current and industry relevant.

You are now looking to bring this experience into a Higher Education setting to inspire and develop the next generation of equine professionals.

You will be:

  • A confident and effective communicator.

  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding student experience.

  • Innovative and engaging in your teaching approach.

  • Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining high academic standards.

  • Able to motivate, challenge and support students to achieve their full potential.

At University Centre Bishop Burton, we are committed to providing an exceptional student experience within a supportive, innovative and forward-thinking learning environment.

By joining our team, you will benefit from:

  • Sector-leading equine facilities and specialist teaching resources.

  • Strong industry links and employer engagement.

  • A collaborative and supportive Higher Education team.

  • Excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.

  • The chance to shape and contribute to the continued growth of our Higher Education provision.

If you are ready to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of equine professionals, we would love to hear from you.
