Racesafe is a third-generation family business. We design and make equestrian body protection here in Corby, and run a small group of equestrian brands alongside. We sell through UK retailers, export partners overseas, and our own online stores.
Our office manager is retiring after 14 years. We need a hands-on finance person to take over the books, payroll and credit control.
This is an important time for Racesafe. We've added new brands, have new products launching, and are growing our online sales. You'll be a core part of the team, and your work will help shape how we grow.
Responsibilities include:
Run the books in Xero across our brands and two companies
Purchase ledger and supplier payments
Sales ledger and credit control across 120+ trade accounts, UK and export
Weekly payroll for around 45 staff, RTI and pensions (NEST)
Quarterly VAT returns under MTD, including imports and exports
Bank and account reconciliations, month-end close
Year-end pack for our external accountant
Light HR admin: leave records and new starter details
