Monarch Equestrian, the market leader in equestrian stabling & equine exercise equipment since 1964 , operating here in the UK as well as being represented globally.

We are currently looking for an out and out Sales Professional to join our team. 

The role will be office based initially but will be a field based role after a successful probationary period. We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record in sales, desire to succeed and want to produce results. The purpose of this role is to exceed sales targets and develop new business with an established base of customers.

Job Purpose -  To handle enquiries & provide quotations to customers tailoring their to needs by utilizing standard and bespoke solutions for equestrian Builds & Installations.

As a Field Sales Representative you will;

  • Create and implement sales plans & strategies to develop opportunities in your allocated region, demonstrate, advise on, promote & sell equestrian stables and exercise equipment.

  • Assist with marketing suggestions to help drive and push market trends.

  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.

  • Manage your own work schedule

  • Contact your customer base through telephone calls & emails to build strong relationships, securing new customers & identifying potential new sales opportunities.

  • Be able to empathise with customers requirements & overcome objections.

  • Record and expand on market activity to feedback to other departments. 

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this exciting role you will have a strong aptitude for sales and selling of products and services as well as;

  • Proven track record in sales 

  • Proven ability to exceed targets and work well under pressure

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to identify new business opportunities

  • Experience / familiarity of the Equestrian Industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs

  • Full driving license (Essential)

  • Ability to travel and spend nights away

Candidates need to reside within reach of our HQ in Willenhall

Full Time

Reporting to: - Directors

Work Pattern: 5 days a week (office hours) and 2 weekends twice a year

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 with performance related pay
