We are now seeking a highly qualified Equine Nutritionist to join our technical team of experienced Nutritionists and Veterinarians on a full-time basis. This is a UK based role with flexible ways of working for the right candidate.
Who We Are Looking For
Essential
Degree qualified in Equine Science, Animal Nutrition or a related field (Bachelor's minimum; higher qualifications advantageous)
Confident providing nutritional advice and supplement recommendations
Comfortable interpreting and communicating scientific information to horse owners, riders, Veterinarians and other industry professionals
Highly personable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships
Self-driven and highly organised, with the ability to think analytically
A collaborative team player with a genuine interest in horse welfare, health and performance
Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel regularly to yards, competitions and trade shows
Advantageous
Commercial experience within the equine feed or supplement industry
Experience with supplement or feed product development and formulation
Understanding of feed and industry body regulations and compliance
Experience in equine research or academia
What You Will Be Doing
As our Equine Nutritionist you will be supporting our professional and leisure customers with nutritional and technical advice. You will be part of our highly qualified team of Equine Nutritionists and Veterinarians who are UK based with global experience.
Delivering expert equine nutritional consultations and supplement recommendations directly to customers on yard and through our helpline
Building and managing strong relationships with key clients, including top riders, trainers, barn managers and veterinary professionals
Representing Equine America and Horse First at competitions, equestrian events, clinics and trade shows
Creating educational and engaging technical content for marketing and customer education
Delivering both academic, research-focused presentations and practical nutrition talks
Supporting product research and development
Assisting with product compliance and feed regulation requirements to ensure our products align with industry regulations and best practice
