We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant. 

The responsibilities of this role will include managing social media accounts, assisting in marketing campaigns and delivering relevant marketing content. This role will involve everything from creating, developing, and delivering and will require the candidate to work alongside our Ecommerce Sales and Marketing Manager.  

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated. To be successful as a digital marketing and social media assistant you must have excellent time management skills and be eager to keep abreast of what is happening within the industry in terms of social media and digital marketing.

Our innovative approach has ensured a continued position at the forefront of equine science – we have led the way in improving the health and well-being of millions of horses and ponies worldwide. Now, four decades on, we continue to invest heavily in research and development and are always testing new ideas as well as improvements to our existing products.

Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant Responsibilities

  • Support our team in the delivery of marketing campaigns

  • Assist in executing marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, including the day-to-day execution across marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support

  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge

  • Creating content for the website and social media

  • Engage customers in a confident and professional manner

  • Handle customer queries regarding products in a professional manner

  • Maintaining positive customer relations

 

Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant Requirements

  • A positive and pro-active attitude

  • Equine background

  • Ability to use various design programmes i.e., InDesign, Photoshop or Canva

  • Desire to learn

  • The ability to work independently as well as work cohesively as part of a team

  • Not afraid to share ideas

  • Over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK

  • Valid UK driving license – this position is office based and will require you to drive to the office which is in a rural location. 

 

Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant Skills / Qualifications:

  • Marketing or social media marketing degree preferred.

  • Graphic design

  • Teamwork

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent written skills
