Working in the Equine Services department, a 12-month fixed term vacancy has arisen within the Equine Pillar for a Customer Service Advisor, forming part of the Customer Service & Administration Team.  This role provides first and second line customer support and administrative services to the Racing & Breeding industries.  

Key Accountabilities:

  • Race entries

  • Ownership

  • BHA accounts

  • Racing & Studbook Registrations

  • PASScard racecourse access

  • First line customer query resolution

  • Manage and resolve queries received via telephone and email in line with agreed SLAs

  • Assisting with admin tasks alongside the administration team as business requires.

  • Racing Operations (weight adding, coordinating tasks).

Skill Requirements:

  • Professional and polite telephone manner

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • The ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met

  • Excellent customer service ethic and first-class administrative skills

  • Able to keep pace with updates to processes and procedures

  • Ensuring the services provided to all customers are executed correctly and accurately

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • The role will suit an individual who is a quick learner who is accurate and organised

  • A flexibility of approach will also be critical in a fast-changing environment

  • An understanding and interest in the racing & breeding industries would be beneficial but is not essential

Essential Requirements:

The role will be 35 hours per week, 09:00-17:00, with a variable working pattern covering 5 days per week, including some weekends.

Applicants will initially be required to work from Head Office in Wellingborough, having successfully passed the probation period a hybrid working pattern can be reviewed.
