Agri-Enviroment Specialist - Senior Position
Just Farm has an immediate vacancy to enable the continued growth of our team. We are looking for analytical thinking individuals, passionate about helping Farmers and Landowners navigate the latest and most appropriate funding schemes to maximise their potential. This is a senior level position in a fast-growing team, based in the heart of the Cotswolds.
At Just Farm we are challenging the status quo to serve farmers best needs and become the go to service provider for all farming grants. As a team we are quietly confident, efficient and accurate, excellent communicators and have great fun helping our Clients maximise value.
Responsibilities
Develop a leading knowledge of the core DEFRA annual payment schemes; Sustainable Farming Incentive and Stewardship under ELMs.
Identify and generate new business opportunities and establish trade relationships.
Build and grow existing business relationships by fully communicating Just Farm values and service.
Design and deliver schemes with Clients to maximise their business resilience and profitability through relevant DEFRA schemes.
Ensure the Client Service Specialist team is fully briefed to deliver exceptional service to the Client.
Attend industry events to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
Complete Annual Declarations for our growing Client base.
Requirements
Degree level educated: Showcasing the ability to become a subject matter expert and present complex concepts.
Team Player: The ability to work in a tight knit team, championing colleagues and driving towards a shared goal.
Pro-Active Self Starter: Demonstrating the ability to embrace and be motivated by a challenge.
Great Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential, both in terms of listening and understand the clients ambition, but also the ability to influence decisions and present value propositions.
Responsible: Taking responsibility and ownership of a workload and personal objectives.
Results Driven & Outcome Focused: Owning a target and controlling the outcome.
Passionate about the Countryside: working with farm businesses, and understanding the profitability of farming and land-based enterprises.
This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will work from our office near Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire and be required to live within a 40 mile commute of the office.
