Location: Hybrid working, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire
Hours: 20hrs per week (1040 annualised hours)
Salary: Circa £37,500 per annum
The Society of Master Saddlers is seeking a driven individual with strategic and operational experience to join us as our next Chief Executive Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead the UK’s largest saddlery focused membership organisation and fitting training provider, helping to shape the future of saddlery and equine welfare.
We’re looking for a leader with exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, and a good understanding of policy and legislation development. You’ll work closely with our Executive Committee, members, and stakeholders to promote high standards in saddlery craftsmanship and fitting, both in the UK and internationally.
This role requires proven leadership experience, strong governance knowledge, and a collaborative, forward-thinking approach.
A background in the equestrian sector is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading on the development and delivery of the strategic plan
Working closely with and reporting to the Directors and Executive Committee
Liaising with external organisations and key industry stakeholders
Leading and managing the Society’s small team of staff
Hybrid working as required
