We’re looking for a driven, ambitious Business Development Manager with a proven record of success in equine sales, who can help us grow our domestic retail presence while developing our export potential.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of Feedmark’s growth journey — driving new business, strengthening partnerships, and representing our brand with energy, expertise, and credibility across the equine community.
This field-based, hands-on role combines relationship building with strategic sales development, covering both UK retail and international export opportunities. You’ll be a proactive self-starter who thrives on results, enjoys travel, and understands what motivates equestrian customers at every level.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in both domestic and export markets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, retailers, distributors, and industry professionals. Achieve and exceed sales targets across all markets through effective territory management and relationship development.
Represent Feedmark at key equestrian events, trade shows, and international exhibitions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions and service.
About You
Proven, highly successful experience in equine sales or business development, ideally covering both domestic and export markets.
Strong understanding of the equestrian industry, with the credibility to engage confidently with horse owners, retailers, and distributors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a passion for driving growth.
Energetic, self-motivated, and organised, with a genuine enthusiasm for horses and equine products.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility for national and occasional international travel.
