Shelley Ashman Intl Shipping specializes in the movement of horses globally via land, sea and air and in doing so offers our clients a personalised service to suit their needs. We are based on the outskirts of Tiverton, Devon close to the M5.
We are looking for a full-time experienced administrator to join our small friendly team.
The successful candidate would be responsible for the fulfilment of multiple shipments for a wide variety of clientele, for this you will need to manage your day-to-day workload to ensure the various stages of shipments are completed within the required time frames.
You will need to communicate clearly and efficiently with clients, vets, transporters, and official veterinarians regarding each individual shipment to ensure that all information is correct and all required paperwork is completed and received by each specific person/department.
You will advise clients accordingly regarding Imports, exports and temporary movements of their horses and trucks to ensure they meet all legal requirements and have the smoothest experience possible.
This is a busy, varied role in a fast-paced environment, the ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.
We are looking for someone with;
A strong administrative background to work full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team using their own initiative but also work independently when necessary.
You will need to have the ability to handle pressure and prioritise your workload.
The successful candidate must be computer literate with a professional, friendly, and confident telephone manner.
Experience within the equestrian industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
This is an office-based role in Tiverton, Devon.
Starting Salary £28,000 - £33,000 pa depending on experience.
