Join a Leading Wholesaler in the Agricultural and Equestrian Market
Stockshop Country Ltd is a well-established and respected UK wholesaler, offering a diverse range of over 3,500 products across the equestrian, farm and country, pet, and poultry sectors. Our portfolio includes the renowned Wolseley brand of horse clippers and electric fencing.
Ideally located in Lincolnshire or the East Midlands, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands, East Anglia and some Northern Counties. This is an exciting opportunity to sell our comprehensive product range to retail trade customers. Must have a proven track record in a similar role (B2B, field sales, retail, customer service).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Plan and organize daily schedules to visit current and prospective clients.
Submit orders in line with pricing structures and product literature.
Provide regular reports and updates to management, including monthly territory analyses.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints effectively.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales data.
Represent the company at trade shows, customer open days, and sales meetings.
Candidate Profile
Well-presented and self-motivated, ideally with a proven track record in sales.
Target-oriented, forward-thinking, and able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Organised, with excellent time-management abilities.
Experience or knowledge of the agricultural, smallholder, or equestrian markets is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required is a must.
