Animal Health and Equipment Wholesaler.

We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Area Sales Manager to drive growth across our dedicated equestrian and agricultural brands in the South West of England. This role offers the chance to make a real impact – developing trusted relationships, expanding our product presence, and unlocking the full market potential of your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow relationships: Build and maintain strong, lasting partnerships with customers, distributors, and suppliers.

  • Hit targets: Deliver agreed sales and margin goals for your territory.

  • Expand the business: Identify new opportunities, develop new channels, and keep ahead of competitor activity.

  • Champion our brands: Work with Marketing to deliver campaigns and initiatives that raise awareness and drive sales.

  • Support customers: Provide product training, advice, and support that adds value and strengthens loyalty.

  • Stay connected: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the business.

  • Share insights: Provide clear and regular reports on opportunities, risks, and territory performance.

  • Keep learning: Liaise with suppliers to stay up to date on new products and pass that knowledge on to customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales experience (5+ years), ideally within the agricultural or equestrian sectors.

  • A strong track record in business development and brand growth.

  • Background in agricultural or animal science (preferred, not essential).

  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven.

  • Comfortable analysing sales data to inform strategy.

  • Good IT and numeracy skills.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
