Premier Equine International is an equestrian brand specialising in equine products. A leader in horse rug technology and leg protection with wholesale and retail operations in the UK, Europe, and Global markets which is continuously expanding in reach, demand, manufacture, and range.

The growth and success have created an opportunity for a full-time Senior Trade Salesperson to join our team based at HQ in Goxhill, North Lincolnshire.

The suitable candidate must come from a B2B sales or trade management background with the ability to work independently and show self-motivation. Upon fulfilling this role, we would expect the candidate to develop, produce and cultivate ideas with plans for growth within the trade sector of our customer database, led by ambition with independent working and strong communication with the wider team. 

Responsibilities

The role's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to establishing viable opportunities with potential new B2B customers, developing and assisting with our B2B outreach programme, and cultivating a developing database for further data analysis and lead evaluation.

You would be working hand in hand with the broader marketing and trade sales team to create compelling programmes and campaigns which convert potential leads into new business. Further to this, you are expected to contact prospective customers, create and manage effective lead nurturing campaigns, and support the team with data analysis and actionable insights.

Ongoing tracking and reporting of activities is a necessity, as is cultivating an understanding of our sales processes and utilising CRM software throughout. You will liaise with senior management to develop solutions that are not currently in our day-to-day procedures.

The Candidate

We are looking for a person with strong motivation to excel, increase and improve the company's B2B database of valuable customers. A professional attitude is required, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and show high-quality organisational and time-keeping skills.  

The ideal candidate would possess characteristics alluding to diligent and thorough data management, with strong attention to detail. A methodical and efficient way of working is welcome within our team, alongside strong communication skills and a confident, professional team-working manner.

Qualifications

Previous Sales and customer service is a requirement, ideally surpassing five years' experience within the equine trade sales/trade management sector.

The candidate needs to be computer literate and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, and Excel, and interested in learning new IT systems as we develop furthermore.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary:  In the region of £34,000 - £40,000 per annum

Schedule: Working hours are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week.
