RDA have an exciting opportunity at their National Training Centre in Warwickshire for a National Training Centre Manager. This is a full-time role with some evening and weekend work required so a flexible approach to working hours will be important.

The role will report to the Director of Coaching, Education and Equines and will lead and manage all aspects of RDA’s flagship National Training Centre (NTC).  They will be responsible for the implementation of the Centre’s long-term vision and plans, as part of our wider Coaching, Education and Equines strategy. 

Delivering the highest standards of participant experience, equine welfare, safely, efficiently, and effectively, with well trained, motivated staff and volunteers is critical. As is the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and elevate and leverage existing partnerships. Delivering against income projections and managing costs within budget are also key requirements. The role will be practical, participative, and hands-on at times.

The main functions of the role will be;

  • To manage the operation of the NTC, ensuring that there are adequate facilities and activities for RDA’s training needs and for users of the site
  • To manage the site and facilities (with the exception of the RDA UK office building), including the horses and pasture
  • To oversee the operation of NTC, ensuring that existing and new participants have a high-quality experience
  • To maintain and develop commercial activity at the NTC in order to generate income
  • Line management and budget management responsibilities
