International Project Officer – External Liaison
permanent, full time
£33,000 to £35,000 per annum
World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care. The International department is responsible for implementing the charity’s strategy in developing countries and aims to improve the welfare of as many working equines as possible.
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our International team to support and develop the community-based projects that underpin the charity’s presence in developing countries. You will be required to facilitate the implementation of our International programme ensuring that working equine welfare is improved in an appropriate and effective manner. This is very much a project management role having to manage funds, budgets and accounts and become familiar with the working of local administration and legal requirements relating to partner organisations.
