Rectory Farm Arena is a busy Equestrian Competition Centre holding both Affiliated and Unaffiliated shows

We are looking for an Event Organiser to join the team and look after the running of the shows and the day to say hire of the arenas

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include organising and running the many shows that we hold each year from British Showjumping, Eventers Combined Training, Pony Club, NSEA competitions to Unaffiliated Show Jumping and Arean Eventing

We cater for Olympians to grass roots riders in addition to running the shows you will also be responsible for the day to day aspects of the arena hire

Candidates wishing to apply should have equine knowledge and experience of affiliated equestrian competitions. We are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic team player who has excellent communication and tech skills

Tasks required of you

  • Manage the online entry system

  • Manage the online show schedules

  • Organise helpers and judges for the horse shows

  • Maintain records and financial accounts for the show

  • Help administrate the sponsorship for the shows

  • Manage inventory of rosettes and prizes

  • Assist with course building

Skills / Experience required

  • Good Computer skills including strong spreadsheet skills

  • Experience using social media platforms

  • Previous image editing skills using Canva or Photoshop

  • Previous website editing experiecne ideally WordPress

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi task

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Terms and Conditions

Five days per week. You must be prepared to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays during the show season from March to October

Salary dependend upon age and experience

House share available - Ideally looking for someone to live onsite

This is a full time - permanent role

Opportunity to keep a horse and use of excellent facilities

Educated to A Level or equivalent

Full driving license
