Weatherbeeta remains a family owned business founded in Australia and the world-wide leader in equestrian products for the horse and rider. We have been in the UK for over 30 years & the USA for over 25 years.  Our enviable portfolio of brands includes market leaders WeatherBeeta, Dublin and Collegiate. While our heartland is equestrian, we also have an emerging pet products business.

2024 is going to be a big year for us all here at Weatherbeeta and we need to expand our team. We are adding a Business Development Account Manager to the UK Sales team. Working remotely ideally from a central UK base, this role will be focused on both account management to maximize existing relationships, whilst also putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts.

The Business Development Account Manager will be a key part of our wider success story; you'll be a strong relationship builder, a sales professional and champion of our brands, able to support our customers at every turn.

Working as part of the UK Sales team, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales analysis and strategic planning

  • Key account development, management and communication

  • Brand development and omnichannel management

  • Market intelligence 

What do you need to be successful in the role?

  • Experience growing and developing accounts

  • Ability to identify new business opportunities

  • Proven ability to exceed targets and work well under pressure

  • A strong business acumen and ability to review data metrics to make informed decisions to build strategic plans

  • Be a lateral thinker as an approach to problem-solving that strives for creative solutions rather than the most straightforward answer

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent relationship building and customer service mindset - the ability to build rapport across many demographics, overcoming objections and achieving business results

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, Written and verbal

  • Be able to work collaboratively with others

  • Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) experience and proficiency

 Is this you?

This role would suit a candidate:

  • Who has equestrian experience and would love to represent some of our industry’s most celebrated brands. We are a company of animal lovers with a growing Pet business so a love of dogs would help too!

  • 3 years experience in B2B sales with proven track record of exceeding targets, preferably within the Equine or related industry

  • With a deep motivation for delivering great account management to their customers

  • Is looking for a small company feel within the framework of a global leader in their industry

Flexible Working

Weatherbeeta supports working away from our sites. Home working is common across our business and will be supported for this role. Due to this, any candidates hoping to be considered must have adequate internet and connectivity of at least 18-20 mbps.

A home base readily accessible to a portfolio of accounts central to the UK would be a distinct advantage.
